It was a
beautiful October day where amicable breezes floated bright
red and yellow leaves that fell from their fiery torches that
emblazoned the campus. But the friendly gusts of wind sometimes
carried more than the bright colored leaves upward, .. to the
delight of us males as we paused between classes. Male students
often gathered at one particularly infamous windy knoll where
groups of boys could be found admiring the upward forces of
nature. Flashes of forbidden lace and smooth alabaster were
greeted with whistles and cheers, while helpless coeds laden
with books and purses reacted to the sudden brisk autumn currents
with their own crimson colors of lost modesty. ... Sometimes
the celebrations would get markedly boisterous and lively when
white lace gave way to silky, brown thigh tops with their ribboned
clasps that connected upward into soft, lacy pastels... Linda
and I were walking together from Literature class this day,
and approaching the infamous knoll. I had been trying to get
her to go out on a date with me since I first saw her; and fortunately,
having the same class afforded me the time and opportunity to
try and melt away this resistance she had.

you, .. please ? . I'll even pay you." My sister coaxed. "NO
! .'. Not in a million years ! .. I'm not doin' it !" I howled.
"Come on, . it's just a dress. No one will see you. . I have
to get this done !" "Well, don't look at me ! Get one of your
girlfriends to do it." I suggested. "Jenny is too tall, and
Corrine, .. well, .. she just isn't the right shape." Sandy
explained. Yeah, . Corrine has a figure, I thought to myself.
"None of them are my size, ... but you are." She added so sweetly.
"Well, I'm not wearing a dress ! . and that's that ! . so just
forget it !"

It was to be a great vacation for the whole family: Paul and
Janet Richards and their children Jeremy, 11 , and Jennifer
9 were at last going to have a long awaited trip. They planned
to go to Disneyworld, and were going to spend two whole weeks
in Florida. Paul was a corporate lawyer, and it had been difficult
finding the time off to go. ………But then a week
before they were to go, Paul's firm had a large litigation suit
dumped on them.
"Oh Paul, what am I supposed to tell the children ?"
Janet cried.
"You will just have to go without me. It's impossible for
me to get away now."
"Oh, … but Paul, … you know what a handful Jeremy
can be. He listens to you." Janet complained.
"I'm sorry, but you'll just have to manage. Why don't you
ask your sister Charlene to go in my place."
Janet sighed, … and nodded. She would just have to do the
best she could.
